Gabriel 6 Months/Lucia 3 years 3 Months

G turned 6 months last week! Some highlights of this little guy:

- Happy happy happy
- Except when he's tired and then he's ferocious!
- Sitting up but still needs to be monitored.
- No teeth
- Loves touching and using his hands
- Eating cereal and jarred fruits and veggies. Will start with bite sized food soon.
- Watches Lucia and Bella like a hawk!
- He's very aware of people and babies. He scans the room looks for a face, stops for a few seconds and continues on. He's very attentive.
- He wakes up once per night.
- Went for a swim for the first time and loved it!
- He "yells" at Lucia when she gets too close ;-)
- He loves tummy time
- He's still swaddled
- He has about 172 diff facial expressions:-)

He's the most perfect little calm and peaceful guy.

Lucia's now 3 years and 3 months:
- Complete conversations
- Asking Why All.The.Time
- Adores singing and dancing at any chance
- Confident at school, home, when either Rafa or I leave.
- Very in tune with feelings and empathy. "I'm feeling sad. I'm going to miss you. You hurt my feelings. I'm sorry (without prompting). She must be sad".
- Absolutely loves birthday, everyone's!
- Sounding out all letters and reading some 3 letter words: cat, egg, etc
- Her BFF is still Josh
- She ADORES Gabriel, wants to kiss him all the time, tells him jokes, pays attention to him. Shows no signs of jealousy.
- She's the silliest little 3 year old I know. Makes jokes, teases, does silly faces and sounds.

She's an absolute rainbow.

Hey Gorgeous

This is how our 3 year old applies lipstick.  I'd say she's pretty good! Every morning she asks for some and I think it's super cute. She's absolutely gorgeous!

Brasil - World Cup 2014

Life has been so busy and my blog is seriously lacking in attention.  For the last month we have been in Brasil and what.a.trip!  Phew!  It was fun and adventurous and completely exhausting, especially the travel.  We went during the World Cup and I am so thankful I was able to experience two WC wins in Brasil while they hosted, the experience was awesome.  Sadly, the 7-1 loss to Germany was absolutely devastating and heartbreaking.  I don't think I will ever recover.  USA played awesome and made it to the round of 16.  Even though they lost there, I am so proud of their play, all heart and soul.  Lucia and Gabriel loved being with family and of course, our babies did so awesome with the travel, the heat, the time changes, the food changes, everything.  We couldn't' be more proud.  A few highlights of the trip ... Etna threw a real birthday party for Lucia and Lucas, we had a big FESTA, Gabriel was baptized, and I was able to travel with my SIL down to Sao Paulo for work.  Both were incredibly awesome experiences!  But now we are back home safe and sound and resting when we can.
