It has been a deliriously exhausting and fun summer that there has been no time to blog! So I am going to sum it on one photo fantastic post! As you know, we went to Brasil for the World Cup and that started the festivities! We came home to Portland and the summer was kicked off into full gear and still hasn't stopped. The weather has been gorgeous and perfect that there has been no time to waste! I will hit the highlights!
Lake Trillium Camping, a close and beautiful spot near Mt Hood. We met with two other families and the kids played and played. Rafa and Gabriel would drive home at night, for Gabriel had a cold and we knew he would not sleep well. The highlight of the weekend, I started my very first fire by myself with no lighter fluid! All and all a perfect weekend!
Coast KOA Camping! At the end of August we headed out to the coast and KOA camping. It was cooler weather than expected, but the cabin was perfect for us, the kids activities plentiful, and the salmon that was caught from fishing, delish! I love this place because you feel like you are camping, but you can get have some comforts of home, like pizza delivered and cappuccinos! Highlight of the weekend, surviving Lucia having a toothache, she just wan't her best self :(
Sunriver! Probably one of our favorite destination in all of Oregon, so far. And this year was no exception, we had family and friends join us (such a rare treat!). The highlight? Biking with our kids in the trailer and seeing all the happiness from Lucia, Max, and Josh.
And some other pics! My BFF Becca came up for the weekend for my birthday and we saw Pat Benatar at the Zoo with Lucia. It was seriously the highlight of my whole summer!
Went to the coast for an overnight with some momma friends!
And there was boating and swimming and picnics and bonfires and sleepovers and biking and Timbers games and hikes and volunteering and the list goes on and on and on!
It was a summer to remember!
