Firsts

It was an evening of firsts tonight for little Lucia! First Blazer game, first singing of the national anthem, first kettle corn and first sitting in a stadium chair. At first Lucia was stunned and silenced by all the action and then she danced and cheered and clapped. But sometimes the big cheers startled her just a little too much. We lasted until half way through the third quarter which is better than I thought we'd do!

The Pumpkin Patch!

Last weekend the little fam and I went out to the Pumpkin Patch on Sauvie Island.  It was such a beautiful sunny morning!  And it's so nice to see Lucia enjoy more this year now that she in a whole year older :)

Napa Girls Weekend!

Well what can I say....last weekend with the girls was just about perfection.  We had such a wonderful time together and I certainly enjoyed the break!  Napa is a gorgeous place to visit, the food was delicious and the company was so much fun! I learned that I LOVE sparkling red wine and that I definitely want to visit again soon!

Owasso Visit!

Two weekends ago, Lucia and I went to Owasso to visit family.  It's so great visiting with family and even more so seeing Lucia with her family that she most likely does not remember from previous visits.  It is incredibly hard living away from all of our family, but we certainly don't take our visits for granted and appreciate the time we do get to spend together, even if it is only for a few days.
